So I've decided....

So for the past two weeks I've been working on this e-mail for Joanna about my life at Santa Cruz (sorry Joanna for ruining the surprise) and I've come to the conclusion that trying to sum up weeks of life into an e-mail is far too difficult a task to take on. So, I've resolved to actually use my livejournal to write about my daily life for anybody who's interested. This is also the point in my livejournal writing that I may have to lock people out of my journal because there are somethings I just don't feel comfortable with sharing with everybody. If you are really interested in what happens here at Krege college in UC Santa Cruz and you think you might get locked out of my journal, don't hesitate to drop me a comment explaining, in detail, why you are so interested in my life. Just kidding. I guess just let me know if you want to read it or not because I'm going to do some cleaning of the friends because I'm pretty sure there are people there that either don't use livejournal or have no interest in my livejournal. I'll try not to let anything interesting happen in my life between now and tuesday, when I'll probably be making my first real entry.

To sum up my weekend:

I ate too many pot brownies...I was high all weekend and nothing interesting happens when you are completely knocked out by weed.

Oh also, I went to the beach yesterday and I drew pictures out on my porchy decky thingy with a bunch of Kresge people today. It was fun.

Wow... it's all so true. Karin, we may as well give up this charade... we've been outed by a lj quiz. I know we were hiding our love so well for a while but I think people started getting suspicious of what was really going on between us when we went to prom as the hottest couple on the planet. I tried to cover up our mistakes by pretending to hate you, but everybody saw through the act. So, I give up.

On a slightly different note, if anyone finds a good galinda costume (any galinda costume... school outfit, bubble gown, popular dress, one short day outfit, thank goodness outfit) or if anyone already had pieces for a good galinda costume, I will gladly come home this weekend to retrieve it soooooo keep your eyes peeled for these things if you want to see me.

If not... I will probably be going home the weekend following halloween. Cara, this means you will be giving up the boobs. I am having separation anxiety from them. Asshole. I love you!

So wow, maybe in addition to this fun game i will actually post something for the first time in my life.

I'm having an amazing time here at Santa Cruz. I have a single - yay! It's amazing. My roomates ( as in the people in my apartment) are generally cool. Generally as in two of them are kind of lame.

I will start with Calvin. Calvin Chau is an asian boy from San Jose. For those of you who may know him although I think maybe only I really know him very well - think Stephen Seto without a sense of humor and then multiply his personality by 3,000. Calvin's catch phrase is "where's the party?" Oh, he also like to lie about his life experience, for example: Calvin told us that he really likes to do E. He then proceeded to tell us that sex is amazing while on E because this one time he did E and went to a rave and picked up these two girls and fucked them. OOOOOOOHHHHHH there are so many things wrong with that story!!! Aside from knowing he didn't have sex while on E because it is just not possible, we are all pretty positive Calvin is a virgin. Luckily for the rest of us in 812, Calvin is rarely at the apartment and if he is, he's usually locked in his room. Oh, oh oh one more thing: Calvin makes this really weird noise with his throat/nose and when Florian (his room roomate) said something to him about it (he does it in his sleep as well as when he's awake) he denied ever making such a noise in his life. Oh Calvin.

Next we have Andrea, or Andy. OH MY GOD I HATE HER!!!!!!! She's in the single right next to mine. Pretty much her boyfriend lives in there with her. All they do all day long is smoke weed in her room (which she's allowed to do I guess because it's for "medical purposes") and then let open her doors to let the smoke out and it basically all comes in my room along with whatever putrid citrus cover up spray they use. UHllg It makes me want to vomit. I can't get away from the smell either because I'm in the corner of the apartment so it all gets trapped in my corner so whenever I open the door it all comes billowing in. The girl is entirely anitsocial. The only reason she ever comes out of her room is to make food in the kitchen when she has the munchies (always) and leave her mess laying around for other people to clean. I swear the only person she's friends with here is her boyfriend. Her boyfriend by the way is not a student at UCSC. He goes to Cal and apparently it's too hard for him. I wonder why... maybe it's because he's too stoned all the time to ever do anything. Or, maybe it's because he is never at Berkeley to be learning anything or doing any work. Oh also I was thinking maybe Andy's cool but she's just shy and antisocial and has tried to talk to anybody yet. Let me tell you... I was wrong. I had a converstaion with Andy the other night and I swear I got stupider. Maybe it was because she hadn't smoked in over an hour but that girl's brain does not function. Talking to her actually made me angry. I kept trying to get out of the conversation so finally I just turned to Clare and asked her if she wanted to go play ping pong. Oh, by the way, Clare witnessed this whole conversation so she can also vouch for Andy's extreme lack of intelligence.

Other than those two, the rest are really cool so there isn't really much to say unless you want the really long cool story of Saturday night that just proves the awesomeness of my roomates. Except Becky wasn't there and Becky's really cool... she tried to make friends with a racoon one night. I was scared for her life.

Maybe I'll tell all you folks about the cool times up here at Santa Cruz. I'm also trying to find a link to the pictures of our fabulous party on Saturday. When I do... I will post it and tell you the story of the evening's magnificent events minus the massively dumb ending I gave it.

ANDY ROTHSCHILD take no offense to me bitching about the evil Andy. I love you and the only reason I call her Andy is because she goes by Andy but also because I can't pronounce her name the way she does. It's a weird mix pronounciation of An and Drea. It's too much effort to put into her name so I just call her Andy. Sorry.

So I've decided that since nobody has been updating much lately I would take matters in to my own hands and write a nice entry for you all. However you may not like this entry because basically I am going to ramble on about whatever I feel like and you are just going to have to deal with it.

This morning I woke up to some really loud yelling and laughing and stuff and I was all groggy and walked out to the kitchen to get something to eat and my Momma's and Frenchy's friend Pamela was here and they were talking about her ex boyfriends and girlfriends and some of her potential girlfriends and telling stories and stuff. It was all very funny. I think one of the funniest parts of that was when Frenchy said to my mom, "Baby look at your nipples."
then Pamela said, "Damn those head light are on." She then looked down at her own boobs and added, "Mine can't do that."
then Frenchy said "Dude but your wearing a bra."
and my mom said "Yeah but mine do that even through my bra. They're always like that."
and I said, "That's my fault, Sorry"

Good times on Shotwell St.

Another one of my favorite moments was when my momma and Frenchy invited me to go to the movies with them and told me that I get in free if I bring my ID because I'm under 18 and the Roxy is having their Young Loud and Proud marathon. So i asked my mom if I had to pretend to be gay to get in free because it's for young loud and proud kids and I really only fit in to two of those categories and Frenchy says, "Just tell that that you used to be a guy and that you just finished your hormone therapy." Then we got in to a long conversation about young boys getting sex changes.

I can't wait for Company to start. I like rehearsing. I always have. When I was in ballet i used to get so excited when rehearsals for our shows started. I love rehearsing. I particularily love rehearsing dance and I'm dancing a lot in this show. I think.

I have a problem though. I already have decided that I don't like one of the new company girls that I haven't even talked to but like from her myspace page and from the comments she leaves she really bugs me. Like a lot. And I'm sure she's nice but God she's annoying. Maybe I should stop spending so much time on myspace. I'm going to have to like this girl because I think I'm in a few things with her in the revue. I'm not sure I haven't looked at the sheet for a long time.

I was going to tell Clare about the girl online yesterday but she didn't respond to me. So basically she sucks.

Oh Clare I guess I'll write something about you since you kind of inspired me to write this entry:

I really like that we bitch to each other about Company. I always feel bad about complaining so much and I feel liker I should shut up sometimes because I like Company and it's fun but when I talk to you you make me feel not guilty because you bitch as much if not more than I do. It's an amazing relationship we have. And now we both bitch to each other about Santa Cruz too and we haven't even gone yet.
I also have this to say about Santa Cruz: I'm sure we'll have lots of fun even though it's not where either of us wanted to go however don't feel bad about wanting to transfer before even going because I've already been looking at different schools and their requirements for transfer student and their transfer applications.

I miss Alexa.

I miss Leci.

I can't wait to see Cara. I wish she got to be a whore in the show with me. I'm kind of upset about that. Especially because somebody obnoxious that I was talking about earlier this entry gets to be a whore.

I miss Grace.

I miss Tessa.

And where the hell is Katie Herman?

Oh and I miss Adam of course. I can't see him for like another week and a half.

So I just realized that it's better that I didn't do Ragtime not just for me but for other people as well. Here is the main reason why:

My changing extravaganza is far too X-rated for little Sam's eyes. That poor boy would have been scarred for life from it. I hate being responsible for the corruption of innocent young children.

Speaking of corruption of young children... I wonder when Tessa's soul mate Billy turns 13. That would make him a teen and far more acceptable for her to date. It's what, only a 5 year difference.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOooOOOOooooOoOOoooooooooooooOoOooooOoOoOooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooOOOOOOOooooooo I knew I was getting the job before but I OFFICIALLY now have the wonderful job of teaching little kids gymnastics. It's just like kindergym. It's so going to be a party.

Oh and what makes it triply exciting is that I can have the job AND do Company because I only have to work in the mornings except Monday and Sunday.

I love that I got National Honors Society the first year I get an F in on class and have to strike dealsv with teachers from two of my other classes. HAH!!! I also love that I'm drunk right now.

HALLOWEEN 2005

Katie Herman and I came up with the most briliant Halloween costume. It was just about an equal 50/50 split idea. Neither of us could have thought it without the other. She said the words... I thought halloween costume. I was talking about a woman wearing bright pink platform slippers (you know like the mesh slippers with the little sequins and flowers and shit on them that were so cool last year- they weren't platforms but this woman's were). Then Katie said the two idea inspiring glorious words: "FASHION POLICE!"

It was an amazing moment.

So, on Halloween I will be dressing up as a fashion police and hopefully I will persuade some of the UCSC crowd to dress up as fashion criminals. Oh it will be amazing. I think this is the best Halloween idea I have ever come up with.

Oh, Katie may dress up as a fashion police too. She will be from the san diego precinct and I will be from the santa cruz precinct. Our organization may or may not grow beyond that. We haven't decided yet.

So I think that all of you that like to sing should audition for the highschool choral academy at the conservatory this summer. The application date is past but rumor has it that enrollment is low so I you should all send in an application. It's really fun, I did it last year and it's only two weeks out of your summer. Not a huge commitment but for those of you juniors or sophomores it looks good on your college applications. And yeah. So that's all I have to say. But I don't want them to cancel it so even if you don't want to do it and you know someone that likes to sing I would appreciate it if you talked it up to them. Thank ya.
